NHS Walk-in Centre

The Skelmersdale Walk-in Centre is based with the Councourse Shopping Centre in Skelmersdale. It offers residents and visitors a convenient same day service to see an experienced nurse without an appointment.

You can be treated for a variety of minor injuries and illnesses at the centre.

The walk-in centre is open:

• Monday to Friday - 7am to 10pm
• Weekends and Bank Holidays  - 9am to 5pm

West Lancashire Health Centre

The centre is run by a team of experienced GPs and nurses and is based at Ormskirk Hospital.

They provide drop-in health information, advice and treatment for minor injuries and ailments including: broken bones, burns, cuts, sprains and strains, sports injuries, minor head injuries, eye injuries, blood tests, X-rays, and chest infections.

The centre is open 8am to 10pm, seven days a week (including bank holidays and royal weddings).
